Lost & Found Puppets was established as a nonprofit faith based corporation by the state of California in 1998. We have been performing sacred and secular shows for families since 1992, sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ and promoting the art of puppetry around and outside southern California.
We've lent our talent for the filming of a PBS pilot in 2002. In 2003 we gave a workshop in the Parlor Room of the famous Magic Castle of Hollywood. 2007 started off with Tambra auditioning and qualifying as one of the top 10 puppeteers for the Skirball Cultural Arts Center's new Noah's Ark gallery. Also in 2007 together we worked on building solo puppetry shows designed just for men and women's small groups, conferences, studies or anywhere believers gather indoors.
We employ an extensive use of props and special effects as well as record and mix all our shows using original and existing material.
We have entered several friendly competitions with peers earning several awards.
We attend and teach at conferences to keep on the cutting edge of puppetry.
We present biblical truth and moral principles through puppetry at:
- Main Worship Services
- Staff parties
- Special Occasions
- Homeless Shelters
- Festivals
- Holiday Events
- Conferences
- Assemblies
and other social events
